Getting to Know Me
Licensed Psychotherapist in Mystic, CT · Author · Educator
My Story A Practice Born from CuriosityMy path into psychotherapy is guided by a single curiosity: Why do we feel what we feel, and why do we repeat the patterns that hold us back? That question has shaped every aspect of my clinical work. I hold a Master of Arts in Psychoanalysis. Over more than 16 years of clinical practice, I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the unconscious relational dynamics rooted in early experience. My work sits at the intersection of depth psychology and contemporary neuroscience — two fields that, together, offer both the "why" and the "how" of lasting change. I believe that understanding your inner landscape is not a luxury; it is the foundation of a meaningful life. Beyond the therapy room, I write, teach, and create resources that make psychological wisdom accessible to anyone ready to explore it. |

How I Work
My method draws from two complementary bodies of knowledge — weaving together the depth of psychoanalytic insight with the precision of contemporary brain science.
We explore the "why." By examining longstanding relational patterns and the movements of the unconscious mind, we uncover the roots of current struggles — repetitions, defences, and the stories we inherited before we had words for them.
We focus on the "how." Grounded in interpersonal neurobiology, we work with the brain's innate capacity to reorganize, adapt, and form new pathways — creating the conditions for genuine and lasting change.
The therapeutic relationship itself is a vehicle for healing. Safety, attunement, and honesty are the foundation.
Lasting change requires patience. We go as deep as needed, moving at the pace that is right for you.
Rather than prescribing answers, we cultivate curiosity about your inner world — the most reliable guide.
